Public Mutual Launch New Islamic Fund – PIOGF.

Public Mutual telah issue official press release berkenaan new fund yang akan dilancarkan pada 8 April 2008 ini. Seperti yang telah saya inform dalam post sebelum ni, nama fund nya ialah Public Islamic Optimal Growth Fund ataupun ringkasannya PIOGF. Berikut adalah summary of the fund.

Fund Name : Public Islamic Optimal Growth Fund (PIOGF).
Category : Equity Fund.
Type : Income & Capital Growth.
Distribution Policy : Annual income to the investors on a best effort basis.
Objective : Islamic equity fund that seeks to provide income and capital growth by investing in Shariah-compliant stocks which offer attractive dividend yields and growth stocks in the domestic market.
Investor Profile : Aggressive.
NAV per unit : RM0.25 during offer period (8/April/2008~28/April/2008).
Sales Charge : Up to 5% (cash – within offer period), 3% (EPF).
Initial Investment : RM1,000
Additional Investment : RM100

New Islamic fund to be launched by Malaysian’s biggest UTMC, Public Mutual on 8/April/2008. Until the time I write this post, the info are still very tentative. So, please wait until official announcement from Public Mutual.
